Privacy Policy

This policy applies to all information collected or submitted on Operates Spaceships’ website and our apps for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and any other devices and platforms.

Information We Collect

Bring Your Vocabulary does not offer user accounts and does not collect any personally identifiable data. When contacting us by email, we will store your email address until we’ve replied, after which it will be deleted.

Ads and Analytics

The Bring Your Vocabulary app does not collect aggregate, anonymous statistics, such as the percentage of users who use particular features, to improve the app, but may do so in future releases of the application.

Bring Your Vocabulary’s development relies on advertising revenue generated through Google’s Admob advertising service. Through Admob’s services, third parties may be allowed to collect, share, and / or use non-personal data through their own embedded technology in order to deliver advertisements via a unique cookie (that is, a unique string of characters) or via similar technology for non-personally identifiable information. Through Google’s Admob service, Google’s advertising partners may collect advertising identifiers such as the Apple Identifier for Advertising (IDFA). Other data include device type and platform, country, device language, and IP address. The recipients use of the disclosed information, will not be covered by this Privacy Policy. If you have questions concerning the processing carried out by such third parties, you should review their privacy policy. You can read more about Admob’s services and privacy policy by visiting: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Information Usage

We use the information we collect to operate and improve our website, apps, and customer support.

We do not gather or share personal information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to accomplish the Bring Your Vocabulary app’s functionality as described above. We may share anonymous, aggregate statistics with outside parties, such as how many people use the Bring Your Vocabulary app.

We may disclose your information, such as it is at the time, in response to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal requirements; to exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims; to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud or abuse, violations of our policies; or to protect our rights and property. In the future, we may sell to, buy, merge with, or partner with other businesses. In such transactions, user information as it exists as the time may be among the transferred assets.

Security

The Bring Your Vocabulary app does not gather or store sensitive information. In order to update its completion board with user-supplied, opt-in, user-submitted data (limited to a user-supplied handle, completion time, and number of guesses), Bring Your Vocabulary uses a private server secured with SSL and does not store cookies or other data. Your web browser may, however, cache Spaceship Operator's website were you to visit it.

California Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance

We comply with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We, therefore, will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent. Through Google AdMob, an advertising network used in Bring Your Vocabulary, Google will only show non-personalised ads to eligible users in California. Non-personalised ads are based on contextual information, such as an app’s content. Bring Your Vocabulary has enabled restricted data processing for users in California.

Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance

We never collect or maintain information at our website from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13.
